Terms of Service

Effective July 14, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Edge, an AI-powered workspace built and operated by Lost Midas LLC ("Lost Midas," "we," "us," or "our"), a Nevada limited liability company. By creating an account or otherwise using Edge, you agree to these Terms.

1. Beta Service

Edge is currently offered as an invitation-only, free beta. It is provided to you at no cost, for the purpose of testing, providing feedback, and helping us improve the product before general or paid availability. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of Edge at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to you.

2. Description of Service

Edge is an AI assistant that helps you run parts of your business, including drafting messages, summarizing information, and answering questions using a knowledge base you and we maintain together, plus any third-party accounts you choose to connect (such as Google/Gmail). Edge uses large language models, including models provided by Anthropic, to generate responses.

3. Your Content and Data Ownership

You retain all ownership of the business content you put into Edge: your knowledge base entries, client and contact information, messages, and any other data specific to your business ("Your Content"). We do not claim ownership of Your Content. We retain ownership of the Edge platform itself, including its underlying code, architecture, prompts, skills, and methodology. If your access to Edge ends, Your Content is yours; the platform stays ours.

We use Your Content solely to operate and improve Edge for you, including generating AI responses and, at your request, proposing updates to your knowledge base. We do not sell Your Content to third parties.

4. Third-Party Connectors

Edge may let you connect third-party accounts, such as Google Workspace/Gmail, so that Edge can read and act on real data on your behalf. When you connect an account:

  • You authorize Edge to access that account only for the purposes you approve during connection.
  • We store the credentials needed to maintain that connection securely, and never share them with third parties.
  • You can revoke access at any time from the connected provider's own account settings, or by disconnecting it inside Edge.
  • Credentials are deleted when a connection is removed or your account is closed.

5. AI-Generated Content

Edge uses artificial intelligence to generate drafts, summaries, and answers. AI-generated content can be incomplete or incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before relying on it or sending it to a third party, including clients of your own business.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Edge to:

  • Violate any law or the rights of any third party.
  • Attempt to access another workspace's data or credentials without authorization.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of Edge or its infrastructure.
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the underlying prompts, models, or source code of Edge, beyond what is incidentally visible through normal use.

7. Beta Availability and Data

Because Edge is a free beta, we do not currently guarantee uptime, data backups, or recovery in the event of data loss. We take reasonable care with your data, but you should not treat Edge as your sole or permanent record of any business-critical information during this beta period.

8. Confidentiality

We treat Your Content, and any business information you share with us in connection with Edge, as confidential. We will not disclose it to third parties except: to the service providers described in our Privacy Policy who help us operate Edge, when required by law, or with your consent.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Edge is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Edge is not intended to provide legal, financial, tax, or compliance advice, and nothing generated by Edge should be treated as such.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lost Midas LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or business, arising from your use of Edge. Because Edge is provided to you free of charge during this beta, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of Edge is limited to fifty U.S. dollars ($50).

11. Termination

You may stop using Edge at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, for any reason, including at the end of the beta period. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, confidentiality, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time as Edge evolves. If we make material changes, we will make a reasonable effort to notify active users. Continued use of Edge after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
