Privacy Policy
Effective July 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Lost Midas LLC ("Lost Midas," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use Edge, our AI-powered workspace, currently offered as an invitation-only free beta.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information: your name, email address, and profile image, provided by Google when you sign in with your Google account.
- Your Content: the business information you and we add to your workspace's knowledge base, chat messages you send and receive, and any files or attachments you upload.
- Connected account data: if you choose to connect a third-party account, such as Google Workspace/Gmail, the specific data you authorize Edge to access from that account, used only to power the features you request.
- Usage data: basic session and interaction data (such as when you log in and what features you use) that helps us operate and improve Edge.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information above to:
- Operate Edge and generate AI responses to your requests.
- Maintain your workspace's knowledge base and connected accounts.
- Provide support, diagnose problems, and improve Edge during the beta.
- Communicate with you about your account or changes to Edge.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use your information for advertising.
3. Third-Party Service Providers
Edge relies on the following third-party providers to operate. Each processes data on our behalf, under their own security and data-handling practices:
- Anthropic — processes your messages and workspace content to generate AI responses.
- Supabase — stores your account, workspace, and knowledge base data.
- Vercel — hosts the Edge application.
- Google — provides sign-in, and, if you connect it, access to Google Workspace/Gmail data you authorize.
- Fly.io — hosts the self-managed server that connects Edge to Gmail when you enable that connector.
4. Google User Data and Limited Use
If you connect a Google account to Edge, our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Specifically:
- We only use Google data to provide or improve features you directly interact with in Edge.
- We do not use Google data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
- We do not allow any human to read Google data, except in the narrow cases the Limited Use requirements permit: with your consent, for security purposes such as investigating abuse, to comply with law, or as part of internal operations that do not involve making decisions about you.
You can revoke Edge's access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account settings, or by disconnecting it inside Edge.
5. Data Storage and Retention
Your data is stored in our Supabase database for as long as your workspace remains active. As described in our Terms of Service, this beta does not currently guarantee backups or recovery in the event of data loss. If you'd like your data deleted, contact us and we'll remove it, except where we're required to retain it by law.
6. Data Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including encrypted connections, access controls scoped to your workspace, and secure credential storage for any connected accounts. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children's Privacy
Edge is intended for business use by adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Edge evolves. If we make material changes, we will make a reasonable effort to notify active users. Continued use of Edge after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
